2013 Sheriff Sprint Triathlon

Podiums on top of podiums is the only way to describe the kickoff of the local triathlon season here in New England.  Doug G took second OA while his better half Mary took 1st OA and bragging rights for the household!  More impressive however, was Doug's blistering swim that was good for 7th OA.  If that isn't proof that hard work pays off, I don't know what is!  Congrats to all that raced and represented the Black, Pink, and Yellow! Results are up!

Westfield Half Marathon

Another early spring race and another wonderful day of weather for the 2013 version of the Oleksak Westfield Half Marathon!  The wind took a break and the sun came out to welcome runners to an early season favorite.  It may have been a smaller group than years past, but sometimes its quality over quantity and that was the case this time around.  Congrats to all that raced or supported! Here are the results

Holyoke St Pats 10K

We lucked out with more great weather for this year's edition of the annual Holyoke St Patrick's Day 10K.  It was a very special edition this time around as our very own Brian Donoghue was the Race Director!  For those of you that aren't familiar with this race it brings nearly 6000 people to the start line every year and is always the day before the parade in Holyoke.  Coordination and planning for this event is no small task so it makes the feat that much more significant! Congrats Brian on pulling off a fantastic race and congrats to all those that raced! Here are the results!

Hyannis Half and Full Marathon

This year's race will go down in the record books, but not in the most positive way.  Winds and rain rocked the course this year causing large puddles, head, tail and cross winds mile in and mile out.  Because our club is the toughest around, it didn't seem to phase many.  There were many star performances including Doug's blazing 1:26 and Rob's 3:35 which was good enough to qualify him for Boston!  Great job to all that braved the weather and MAKE SURE YOU LOG YOUR MILES!!!  Here are the full results

USAT NCC Awards

Congratulations to all of the Nauts that participated in the USAT National Club Challenge!  We made it to the podium in our first try!  We also hit the bike and run benchmarks first and took the overall bike session award as you can see below.  If you haven't received your water bottles contact the Trailqueen.  Start preparing for next year in the mean time :)
